Making important decisions

Well, there is the packing still to do, lots and lots of paperwork to sort, bills etc to wind up and so on. So, faced with a mountain of work and an ever tighter deadline, Daz and I sat down to tackle an important job.....the decision of which Australian Rules Football team to support.

This should be simple. Perth being a city will have a premiership team. Click on t'internet and find out what this is, and bob's your uncle.

T'internet duly clicked on and.......great, they have two premiership teams.

Well, one is Perth's team - the West Coast Eagles, and one is Fremantle's team, the Fremantle Dockers. Now which do we go for?

Some research needed here I thought, and happily set about the scientific way of working out which team to support. I checked out which team had the 'fitter' players, and also what the merchandise and fan wear were like. Daz for some reason kept muttering darkly about league table positions??

Well, the Fremantle Dockers would be slightly closer and so the more local team. The ground they train at is in Fremantle, however both teams play at the same ground in Perth for the actual matches.

Decisions, decisions. I think we are both leaning more towards the Dockers, however both teams happen to be playing each other the day after we arrive, so we are planning to go and check them out and see what we think on the day.

These important decisions don't half make your head hurt. Now, was there something else I had to do??
