A bit of an update......

It's been a while since we updated. Partly because Darran was hopeless at telling me what he was up to, and then it was the run up to Christmas etc etc. But, back on track now!

So, Darran is home, and not happy about it what-so-ever. He can't wait to get back, but there is the small matter of sorting our stuff, deciding what we're taking and what we're not, putting our affairs in order etc to do before we can disappear anywhere.

That said, Darran may be going back before me if a job becomes available. It is just a case of watch this space. In the meantime he is busy earning some pennies to pay for moving our stuff over, and for the air fares!

But, Daz now has the licences he needs, and we have bank accounts, a car, medi care, driving licences, and Daz has a tax number. All ready to go as soon as we can.

Christmas came and went in a haze of flu (me) and nasty colds (Daz) so the less said about that the better.

Now we are just getting stuck in the sorting and deciding what to take so the the removals men can come and give us accurate quotes. We have contacted three companies and are just in the middle of organising dates for them to come out.

So, we'll keep updating now and then just to let everyone know progress, but I think it is going to be an interesting few weeks ahead!
